This is the 2016-17 Keystone Junior Hockey League season.  This is the league's 44th season overall and third under its' present name.  The league was previously known as the Manitoba Junior B Hockey League from 1974 to 2004.

The league realigned from 2 five team divisions to 3 unbalanced divisions with the Arborg Ice Dawgs and the Lundar Falcons moving from the South Division to the newly formed Central Division.  The Fisher River Hawks and the Peguis Juniors moved from the North Division to the Central Division

Baldy Northcott Trophy Playoffs[]

Format[]

The top eight teams overall qualify for the playoffs.  The three division winners are seeded one through three based on points, the remaining five teams are seeded four through eight based on points  The quarterfinal round is best of five.  The semifinal and final rounds are best of seven.  The playoff champion advances to the 2017 Keystone Cup being held in Arborg, Manitoba and hosted by the Arborg Ice Dawgs.
