As the only registered senior "AAA" teams in the province, the 2015 Chinook Hockey League playoffs doubled as the 2015 Alberta Senior 'AAA' playoffs.

Playoffs (Alberta Senior AAA/Mackenzie Cup Playoffs)Edit

All teams qualify

First Round (Best-of-three)Edit

  • Fort Saskatchewan Chiefs defeated Stoney Plain Eagles 2 games to 1 (2-7, 9-3, 2-0)

Semifinals (Best-of-seven)Edit

  • Bentley Generals defeated Fort Saskatchewan Chiefs 4 games to 1 (8-2, 3-1, 2-5, 5-2, 7-2)
  • Innisfail Eagles defeated Okotoks Drillers 4 games to 1 (1-4, 6-3, 5-4, 3-0, 4-0)

Final (Best-of-seven)Edit

  • Bentley Generals defeated Innisfail Eagles 4 games to none (5-2, 4-3, 4-3, 4-1)

The playoff champion, Bentley Generals advances directly to the 2015 Allan Cup as the Pacific representative as the only AAA registered team in British Columbia withdrew from the competition on January 1, 2015 and there are no other AAA registered teams in Alberta other than the 5 members of the Chinook Hockey League (i.e. the league playoffs are also the AAA Provincial Playdowns and the Mackenzie Cup won't be held this year)
