The teams were paired off into 2 groups of three and played a round robin within the group. The FPP was also used in the round robin standings. The second place team in one pool played the other pool third place team in the quarterfinals. The quarterfinal winners played a pool winner in the semifinals. The semifinal winners met for the league championship.
