- The Slave Lake Wolves did not return after being granted a one year leave of absence for 2014-15.
- The Grande Prairie North Stars did not return and are being replaced by the Grande Prairie Kings.

Playoffs[]
Format[]
All seven teams qualify with the first place team earning a bye into the semifinal round. The quarterfinal round is best-of-five. The semifinal and final rounds are best-of-seven. Both finalists advance to the 2016 Russ Barnes Trophy being held in Cold Lake, Alberta hosted by the Cold Lake Ice for a berth in the 2016 Keystone Cup being held in Regina, Saskatchewan.

- Grand Prairie Kings defeated Dawson Creek Canucks 3 games to none (5-3, 4-3, 5-3)

Semifinals[]
