This is the 2015-16 Nova Scotia Junior C Hockey League season.  This was the league's 17th season.

Membership ChangesEdit

  • The Liverpool-based South Shore Wild did not return after going on hiatus for the 2014-15 season.  However, an article on the website dated September 3, 2015 indicated that the Amherst Colts will return for the 2015-16 season with training camp starting September 10th.
  • The Barrington Ice Dogs announced they were sitting out the 2015-16 season.
  • After learning of the Ice Dogs sitting out the season, the management of the Clare Lions regrettably announced the decision to also sit out the 2015-16 season as the nearest team was now over 2 hours away by bus
  • The league added the Bedford Wolverines and Dartmouth based Metro Jaguars as expansion teams.  Both teams are being operated by the same people.
  • On August 14, 2015 the Fundy Phantoms announced they were taking a leave of absence from the league for the 2015-16 season.
