This is the 2014-15 Battle River Hockey League season. This was the league's 13th season and final season.  The league would fold during the summer after the Daysland North Stars announced they were joining the North Central Senior Hockey League (Alberta).  The league tried to get at least one additional team signed up but could not.  The league worked on adding the remaining teams also into the league.  Lloydminster Border Kings announced they didn't want to jump and would sit out the 2015-16 season.  The Big Valley Oil Kings, Bonnyville Pontiacs, and Tofield Satellites would be accepted by the NCHL for the 2015-16 season.  This would be the last act of the league

Franchise changesEdit

The league added the Olds Elks, Lloydminster Border Kings and the Bonnyville Sr. Pontiacs for the 2014-15 season.  The Macklin Mohawks and the Wainwright Rustlers  withdrew. The Olds Elks and the Hardistay Stampeders drop out after the schedule is written for the season.
