PlayoffsEdit

FormatEdit

The top six teams in each division qualify for the playoffs. The top two teams in each division earn a bye to the quarterfinal round  The qualifying round consist of seed 3 playing seed 6 and seed playing seed 5 in a best-of-three series. The lower winning seed from the qualifying round play the 1 seed and the higher seed plays the 2 seed in a best-of-five series.  The winners of each division series play a best-of-seven division final. The division final winners meet in a best-of-five series for the league championship.

Qualifying RoundEdit

  • Beaumont defeated Strathcona, 2 games to none, 5-4, 2-1
  • Edmonton Royals defeated Wetaskiwin, 2 games to none, 10-2, 6-3
  • Edmonton Mustangs defeated Stony Plain, 2 games to none, 4-2, 2-1
  • Beverly defeated Morinville, two games to one, 6-7, 6-5, 3-2

QuarterfinalsEdit

  • Fort Saskatchewan defeated Edmonton royals, three games to two, 7-4, 4-6, 4-6, 3-1, 5-2
  • Beaumont defeated Sherwood Park, three games to one, 2-9, 4-3, 3-2, 3-2
  • St. Albert defeated Beverly, three games to none, 7-3, 4-0, 7-0
  • North Edmonton defeated Edmonton Mustangs, three games to two, 4-2, 8-4, 2-4, 4-5, 7-3

SemifinalsEdit

  • St. Albert defeated Beaumont, four games to two, 9-0, 3-0, 1-2, 1-5, 4-2, 4-0
  • Fort Saskatchewan defeated North Edmonton, four games to three, 9-3, 3-2, 3-7, 5-9, 8-1, 2-7, 4-3

FinalsEdit

  • Fort Saskatchewan defeated St. Albert, three games to two,  2-7, 3-2, 4-2, 2-3, 4-3

Both of the finalist advance to the 2014 Russ Barnes Trophy.
