This is the 2013-14 American West Hockey League season.  This is the league's third and final season under this name as it was announced in March, 2014 that the league was being merged into the North American 3 Hockey League and would form the league's Frontier Division for the 2014-15 season. The league lost the Missoula Maulers which jumped to the Western States Hockey League  shortly after the 2012-13 season ended.  The Yellowstone Quake played a full slate of games after playing a limited schedule for the 2012-13 season.
