This is the 2012-13 Allan Cup Hockey Season. This was the league's 2nd season under this name and 23rd season overall. The league was previously known as Major League Hockey from 2004 to 2011, Ontario Senior AAA Hockey League from 2003 to 2004, and Southwestern Senior A Hockey League from 1990 to 2003.
Franchise Changes[]
- The Norwood Vipers sat out the 2012-13 season. They would return to the league for the 2013-14 season.
- The league added the Welland Whalers.

Playoffs[]
Format[]
All teams qualified for the playoffs. The 4th and 5th place teams played in a two-game-total-goal "Play-In Series". In the semifinals, the 1st place team played the winner of the play-in series and the 2nd place team played the 3rd place team. The winners of the two series met in the final. The semifinal and final rounds were best-of-seven.

- Orillia defeated Welland 7 goals to 5 (1-1, 6-4) in a two-game-total-goal series

- Brantford defeated Orillia 4 games to 1 (4-5, 5-3, 5-3, 7-4, 5-0)
- Dundas defeated Whitby 4 games to 0 (6-5, 5-4, 3-2, 4-2)

- Brantford defeated Dundas 4 games to 2 (3-5, 3-5, 5-2, 9-5, 4-1, 6-4)
Brantford advanced to the Renwick Cup to play the Kenora Thistles of Hockey Northwestern Ontario in a best-of-three series.
