The 2009–10 is the Wild's 9th season in the National Hockey League. On May 22, Chuck Fletcher was named as the new general manager of the Wild, replacing Doug Risebrough.[1] On June 16, the Wild named Todd Richards as the new head coach, replacing Jacques Lemaire, who had stepped down in April.[2] On August 30, the Wild unveiled their new third jersey, which they debuted on October 21 against the Colorado Avalanche.[3]
