Regular season[]
After only five games of the 2005-06 season, the team General Manager, Patrick Roy, decided to take over the coaching job. The team posted only one win after 5 games.
On September 30, 2005, Roy coached his first game, against the St. John’s Fog Devils and won 6-3.
During the season, the Remparts had two winning streaks of 14 and 13 wins. The club was 1st in the Western Division with a record of 52-16-1-1 and 106 points. [1]
