The 2004 Northeast Regional of the NCAA Tournament took place March 27 and 28, 2004, at Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester, New Hampshire. The regional was hosted by the University of New Hampshire.

The participants were:

Boston College, Michigan, and New Hampshire all advanced to the NCAA Tournament by way of at-large bids. Niagara was the College Hockey America champion.

Final Edit

Boston College and Michigan faced off in the Northeast Regional Final on March 28. Ben Eaves scored 10:08 into the first overtime period to send the Eagles to their first Frozen Four since 2001, when they won the National Championship.
