Membership Changes[]
- The league added the Brewster Bulldogs and the Simsbury, Connecticut based Connecticut Lazers
- The Binghamton Tornadoes were renamed the Binghamton Jr. Senators when they became affiliated with the AHL team
- The Hershey-Metro Falcons were renamed the Hershey Jr. Bears when they became affliated with the AHL team
- The Johnstown Jr. Chiefs folded
- The Mass Maple Leafs left the league for the Continental Hockey Association
