This is the 2002 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference tournament.  The tournament was held from March 9th to 16th.  the tournament champion received the conferences's  automatic bid to the 2002 NCAA Division I Men's Ice Hockey Tournament.

FormatEdit

The top eight teams (out of eleven) qualified for the tournament.  All rounds were single elimination.  The quarterfinal round was held at the home rink of the higher seeded team.  Teams were reseeded after the quarterfinals The semifinal and final rounds were held at the Hart Center in Worcester, Massachusetts, home of the Holy Cross Crusaders hockey team.
