- The league added the Binghamton Tornadoes, New Bedford, Massachusetts based Mass Maple Leafs, Tri-State Jr. Bandits, Upstate T-Birds
- The league lost the Baltimore Jr. Bandits, Elmira Tornadoes, North Country Ice, and Uncle Sam's of Troy

The top three teams from each division qualified for the second round robin of the post season. The 4th through 7th place teams met in a round robin to determine the final qualifier for the second round robin. The winner of the second round robin were named league champions. Both round robins were held at the ESL Center in Rochester, New York on the weekends of March 17-19 and 24-26.
Preliminary Round Robin[]
- Wheatfield defeated Binghamton 12-2
- Tri-State defeated Syracuse 5-4 (OT)
- Syracuse defeated Binghamton 6-5
- Wheatfield defeated Tri-State 6-3
- Wheatfield defeated Syracuse 7-2
- Binghamton defeated Tri-State 6-3
Wheatfield won the round robin with a 3-0 record
Championship Round Robin[]
- Wheatfield defeated Mass 9-8
- Rochester defeated Pittsburgh 7-4
- Pittsburgh defeated Mass 7-4
- Wheatfield defeated Rochester 4-3
- Rochester defeated Mass 7-6 (OT)
- Wheatfield defeated Pittsburgh 4-2
Wheatfield won the round robin and championship with a 3-0 record.
