• May 11th: The South Carolina Stingrays win the Kelly Cup by defeating the Louisiana IceGators 4 games to 1 in the Kelly Cup finals. South Carolina becomes the first team in ECHL history to win the Brabham Cup and Kelly Cup in the same season.
