Quarter FinalsEdit

The Huntsville Channel Cats ended the 1997-98 season in 1st place in the Eastern Division which placed them against the eastern 4th place team the Columbus Cottonmouths. Huntsville defeated Columbus 3 games to 0 in the first round.

Simi FinalsEdit

The Huntsville Channel Cats faced the Memphis Riverkings in the Simi Final round. The Riverkings defeated Macon 3 games to 2 in the quarter final round. Memphis also defeats the Channel cats in the Simi finals 4 games to 2.
