In the 1994-95 NHL season, 48 hat tricks were scored in the lockout-shortened season of 624 games and 7 were scored in the 81 games of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Overall, the Quebec Nordiques and the Philadelphia Flyers each scored 7 to lead all teams, while John Leclair, Eric Lindros, Bernie Nicholls and Owen Nolan each scored 3 to lead all skaters.
