In the 1992-93 NHL season, there were 112 hat tricks scored in the 1,008-game regular season and 10 in the 93 games of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Overall, the Pittsburgh Penguins led all teams with 10 hat tricks and Alexander Mogilny of the Buffalo Sabres led all skaters with 7.
