These are the 1984 playoffs for the University Cup, the CIAU Canadian university championship. The 6-team, 2 pool format was halted starting this season. Six teams qualified. Four teams played in regional quarter-finals and two teams received byes. The final four tournament was hosted by the UQTR Patriotes. This format lasted through 1986.
