Grant Ledyard scored twice and was named first star as the South beat the North 6-5 in the MJHL All-Star Game held Saturday, January 16 in Kenora. The game was part of the community's centennial celebration.

Randy Allen, Derrick Todoruk, Ken Prost, and Ken Petrash added singles for the South, which led 2-1 after one. Both teams were tied at 2 after two. Mark Fenez, Greg Waldvogel, Steve Harder, Donovan McMillan, and Brian Thompson replied for the North. Thompson was named second star. The third star was goalie Derril Trakalo.
