This is the 1964-65 season of the Central Alberta Hockey League.

There were just four teams in the league this season. The Edmonton Oil Kings were a junior team and were advancing to the 1964-65 Alberta Junior playoffs in any case. The winner of the final would win the Alberta senior championship and advance to the 1964-65 Western Canada Allan Cup Playoffs. The loser of the final would win the Alberta intermediate championship and advance to the 1964-65 Western Canada Intermediate Playoffs.
