This is the 1955-56 Big Six Intermediate Hockey League season.

League NotesEdit

  • August 22, 1955, Killarney withdraws.
  • October 16, 1955, League elects Ted Scrase of Dauphin as president, Fred Seamer of Brandon was re-elected vice president, and Don Summers of Brandon continues as secretary-treasurer.
  • December 11,1955, League upholds Souris’s protest and orders a replay of the last 12 minutes and 50 seconds of their December 9 game, with Brandon. Replay to be held December 29, prior to a scheduled game between the two.
  • January 9, 1956, League awards January 7 game to Souris. Dauphin lost the game for, having signed three imports. CAHA rules permits only two.
