Note: Fredericton objected to the tenth game being played at St John, saying that five games had already been played there. Five Fredericton players carried it further - they refused to board the bus to go to the game. This caused the Capitals to default the game and the series. The team later sued these players.

Note: This league was the only Senior A league in the Maritimes so the St John Beavers automatically won the Maritimes Senior Championship and the region's berth in the Allan Cup playoffs.

St John Beavers advanced to the 1955-56 Eastern Canada Allan Cup Playoffs.
