SeasonEdit

Most games were played at the Lachine Arena except the home games of St Jerome and Iberville. Some games were played at the Montreal Forum.

The league played an unbalanced schedule.

McGill University and the University of Montreal played their second teams in this league. They also played in the 1938-39 Intermediate Intercollegiate season. Their first teams played in the International Intercollegiate League and McGill's first team also played in the Quebec Senior League.

The Montreal Concordia Civics and the Montreal Victorias played their second teams in this league. Their first teams played in the Quebec Senior League.

This was the last season for the Victorias, one of the oldest hockey teams in the world.
