Notes: Port Arthur Bearcats represented Canada at the 1936 Olympics. The Port Arthur Indians replaced them.

Winnipeg Winnipegs dropped out of the second series for financial reasons. They were the only Senior A team in Manitoba and were supposed to play the province's Senior B champion - Selkirk.

However, Selkirk objected and the Canadian Amateur Hockey Association ordered the Winnipeg Winnipegs to play off with the Fort William Wanderers.
