On February 19, the Winnipeg Winnipegs, who had recently won the gold medal at the 1932 Olympics, played in Ottawa. They played against the Ottawa City Senior League All-Stars who had recently returned from a tour of Europe. The Ottawa All-Stars won 2-1.
